or so said judge judy according to richard. he asked if i watched any "judges" while i was "sick." i correctly deduced that he was wondering whether i had passed the time whilst i was laid up with a broken foot by watching daytime court dramas. when i began laughing at his marijuana advice, he said in typical richard fashion, "yeh like that dontcha." some things at erc will never change. richard is watching men in black (two) on friday for halloween in case anyone would like to join him. he said he guessed he was excited for the holiday but was not dressing up. which is good because this is the only costume i can pitcure him in and i don't like it.

in other good news, at work yesterday, a customer found this little gem for me!! well not for me, but they pointed out that there was some "non-american currency" in our penny holder. needless to say, i snatched it up immediately for my collection (sorry andy). i really like the overall nautical theme, especially the flamingo and the starfish. it really makes me want to go visit the bahamas. so good job with the coinage common wealth of the bahamas! keep it up.

finally, something really serendipitous happened today! i was taking wafflehouse to the vet under the aid and supervision of papa when a strange child emerged from one of the examination rooms dressed in a pink tie dye sweatsuit. picture this, but with matching bottoms. the girl smiled creepily at us and then ducked back into the room. this on its own would not be very unusual, especially in ann arbor. HOWEVER. the woman that later followed her out of the exam room proved to be none other than "just a coffee refill with lots of hot HOT milk and then i will just go microwave the rest of your cream so that i can add more milk to my drink white haired lady." we all know and loathe her entirely. especially hannah. anyways. turns out she sucks just as much at being a mom as she does at life in general. i didn't like seeing her out in the real world and i didn't like that she went to the same vet as i did. neither did waffle. but i did learn her last name which made me pretty happy.
